Some day I'll get more serious about blogging, but right now, this page is more of a soul-scrapbook. I want to use this page to highlight the great Christian works of art, old and new. Here's an amazing one, Francis Thompson's EPIC poem "The Hound of Heaven." Written by a British recovering opium-addict at the turn of the century, (1800-1900) it chronicles a relentless God in pursuit of a soul. This poem has been a major influence on my own writing, as well as simply epitomizing great artistic expressions of the Christian experience.
